Some Q and A with Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

*Q: My heart and mind are often in conflict. Which should I follow?

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar: Use each at different times. Do not do business with
your heart. Do not do service with your mind.

Q: How do you know when to forgive someone?

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar: When something starts to bother you too much.

Q: What's your secret for having so much energy, such a big heart and so
much compassion?

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar: Simplicity. When you are not being yourself, you get
exhausted. When you try to impress someone or expect something from someone,
you become burdened.

Dear Devotees and Well -Wishers,

Hari Om!

We've had a wonderful start to the year 2010 with the visit of Swami
Abhedananda in January.

We are now awaiting eagerly Pujya Guruji – Swami Tejomayananda's arrival on
Monday April 26, for just a day.

CSC has organized a musical discourse UNTO HIM at the Civil Service
Auditorium from 7.30-to 9.00 p m. Guruji will be accompanied by Smt.
Pramodini Rao–( director of Chinmaya Nada Bindu) and Shri Himanshu Nanda - a
student of Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia*.*

We are inviting sponsors for this event to bear the cost of organizing.
Sponsors will also be able to join Guruji for dinner bhiksha at the centre.

As you all may know that Guruji has worked tirelessly since 1993 when he
took up the mantle of the head of the Chinmaya Mission Worldwide.

Guruji continuously and dynamically has pursued Gurudev Swami
Chinmayananda's gargantuan spiritual and organizational vision and has
executed many notable innovative projects like the Chinmaya organization for
Rural Development, Chinmaya Vibhooti Vision centre near Pune and Chinmaya
Nada Bindu.

We are truly honored to host this event. Let us honor Pujya Guruji our
spiritual head who has been a source of Inspiration to the entire mission
and today we stand tall because of him.

We have limited seating available so don't miss this opportunity of being in
the presence of one of the great living masters of our time!

Inspiration massage

Inspiration massage

When the rains pour on the mountain peaks and the water hurries down
on all the sides, no river emerges.

However, when the water flows in a single direction, first there is a
brook, then a stream, then a torrent and finally a flooded river is
formed and the river merges with the sea.

So too, your mind and actions must flow full and steady along the
fields of holy thoughts. The hands should be used to perform good
deeds. Have the Lord's Name within and perform your prescribed duties.

Worthy indeed is the one who marches in such a manner to the ultimate goal !
